I Share the Gospel
In Primary we have goals, such as helping in the community and sharing the gospel with others. One day we promised that we would help the elderly. I went to some neighbors’ house and began to weed their flower garden. They came out and asked why I was doing this. I explained about our goals, but they are not members of the Church and told me that I didn’t have to help them. I explained that I belong to the true Church and need to keep my promises. They understood some of the things I told them. I learned that other people need to know about the gospel so they’ll know it is good to help one another.

Best Friends
My brother and I have always been best friends. One day when I was four and Ammon was three, we were at the playland of a restaurant close to our house. I skinned my knees pretty badly. They were still hurting a lot when our family came home, and I started to cry.
Ammon held my hand and prayed, “Dear Heavenly Father, please bless Kyli that her knees won’t hurt. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.” I stopped crying right away. Within an hour, my knees had scabbed over. By the next day, they were almost completely healed, and they never bothered me again.

More Stories! More Color!
You have helped me choose the right in all the stories that are written in the Friend. I just can’t stop reading. But just a good suggestion—do a few more kid stories and use more color.

“Stop! No Mad Allowed!”
Mom and Dad say that when I was born, I brought a special spirit into our home. I like to be a peacemaker. Whenever my brothers argue, I put up my hand and say, “Stop! No mad allowed!” If that doesn’t get them to stop, I lead them to the den and have them look at the picture of Jesus and talk to them about Him. Then I ask if they feel better. They always do.
