Jesus Christ Showed Me How
When Jesus lived upon the earth,
He cared for those in need.
His life was one of service;
His love filled every deed.
He gently taught His followers,
Blessed others with His touch,
And called to Him the children,
Whom He loved so very much.
Some were cast aside by others,
Yet with them Jesus stayed.
He offered peace and comfort
To those who were afraid.
He wants me to be like Him.
And I can start right now
To love and serve throughout my life,
For Jesus showed me how.
