Our Creative Friends
Jesus Creates the Earth
1. Day number one
Must have been fun.
Day and night,
Darkness, light.
What He created
Had to be sacred.
2. A firmament to divide,
He was the guide.
Dividing the waters
From the others.
What He created
Had to be sacred.
3. Revealing dry land
Would have been grand.
Waters called seas,
Our Father was pleased.
What He created
Had to be sacred.
4. The sun and the moon
Were made quite soon.
The stars came
Just the same.
What He created
Had to be sacred.
5. Water creatures appeared,
Some looked quite weird.
Fowls came too—
Earth was a zoo.
What He created
Had to be sacred.
6. Adam and Eve were made,
One fruit He forbade.
Everything else is OK.
That’s the sixth day.
What He created
Had to be sacred.
7. Day number seven,
He was in heaven.
Day seven was best,
He got to rest.
What He created
Was very sacred.

The Church
The church is a lovely place.
It’s good for us to go.
It makes me feel warm inside,
Even in the snow.
When I walk inside the doors,
There are lots of faces I know.

Goals of Gold
It is the end.
I’ve reached my goal,
And it changed my soul.
I wish, I wish, I hope, I hope
That people like me will hang on to the rope.
Or else one day it will rain
And wash your goals down the drain.
So have courage and be strong,
And your finish line will come along.
It is the end.
I’ve reached my goal,
And it changed my soul.

Friends
When you have friends, you never want to let them go.
If your friendship is deep enough, it will really show,
And all those good times will never go.
