A Prophet’s Message

President Thomas S. Monson

President Thomas S. Monson talked about the importance of being worthy and staying close to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Here are some of the prophet’s words:

“There is nothing which can bring more joy into our lives or more peace to our souls than the Spirit which can come to us as we follow the Savior and keep the commandments.”

“Our Father in Heaven is the same yesterday, today, and forever. … His constancy is something on which we can rely, an anchor to which we can hold fast and be safe.”

“It is necessary that we communicate with our Heavenly Father through prayer. He wants us to do so; He’ll answer our prayers.”

Children’s Choir

Primary children from the Pleasant View and North Ogden, Utah, areas sang for the Saturday afternoon session of conference.

You Can Do Family History

Elder David A. Bednar encouraged children to use their computer skills to work on family history. He promised wonderful blessings when you do family history work. He said, “Your love and gratitude for your ancestors will increase. Your testimony of and conversion to the Savior will become deep and abiding. And I promise you will be protected against the … adversary.” To get started, visit lds.org/friend.
