Strawberry Blast
On page 26, you can read about how Enkhjin likes picking strawberries with her family. Here’s a recipe for a strawberry smoothie you could share with someone you love. Be sure to ask an adult for help.
1/2 banana
1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
1 cup low-fat milk
1/2 cup cold water
honey to taste
Peel the banana and rinse the strawberries.
Cut the fruit into small pieces.
Place all the ingredients in a blender.
Blend, add enough honey to make it sweet, and serve.
