Wow! It’s getting bad out there. Do we have lanterns and flashlights ready? The power could go out any minute.

I’ve got them ready.

I’ve got the spare batteries and the little radio.

I have hot soup on the stove, and I made sandwiches for later in case we can’t cook for a while.

Wow! I’ve never seen it rain so hard!
