Emma Hale Smith

Emma married Joseph Smith, and she went with Joseph to get the plates from the Hill Cumorah.

When Joseph translated the plates, she was the first one to help write down the words.

God called her to make a hymnbook for the Church.

She was the first Relief Society President.

When Joseph was 14, he prayed to know which church was true. Heavenly Father and Jesus appeared to him.

He helped restore Jesus Christ’s Church.

He translated the gold plates so we can read the Book of Mormon today.

God gave him revelations (messages). They are written in the Doctrine and Covenants.
