The Easter Story

Jesus loved His friends. He washed their feet. He gave them the sacrament.

He told His friends to remember Him. He told them to love one another.

Jesus went to a garden. He prayed for all of us. He felt the pain of our sins and our sicknesses.

Angry people took Jesus away. He died on the cross for us. His friends put His body in a tomb.

On Easter morning, the tomb was empty! Angels told His friends, “He is risen.”

Jesus was alive again!

Jesus loves us. Because of Him, we will live again after we die.

I can make Easter special by thinking of Jesus.
