Hello from Hong Kong!

Join Margo and Paolo as they travel the world to learn about Heavenly Father’s children.

Hong Kong is a city and region of China. About 7.5 million people live there.

Church Members

A group of primary children and teachers work on a primary program. They are practicing inside a chapel. They are in an LDS Church Building in Hong Kong.   This is part of a stock photography shoot in Cambodia and Hong Kong

People of many faiths live in Hong Kong. That includes about 25,000 members of the Church. These kids are practicing for a Primary program.

Language

Most people here speak a Chinese language called Cantonese. In Cantonese, a word’s meaning depends on tone—how high or low the sounds are.

A dim sum meal has many small dishes, like dumplings, buns, meats, rice, and cakes. People often eat it in large groups.

City Life

Hong Kong is a big, busy city with lots of people and tall buildings. It has more than 500 skyscrapers—more than any city in the world!

Hong Kong China Temple

This temple has six levels. It was built to be tall instead of wide because there is little space in the city.
