Jesus Is Our Light

After He was resurrected, Jesus went to visit some of the people in the Americas. Dressed in a white robe, He came down from heaven. He held out His hand and said, “Behold, I am Jesus Christ. … I am the light and the life of the world” (3 Nephi 11:10–11).

Jesus is the Light of the World because His teachings and example light our way back to Heavenly Father.

Lighting Our Way

President Oaks told us four ways that Jesus lights our way. Find the scripture that matches each way.

1. His example shows us what we should do.

2. He helps us know what is right and what is wrong.

3. His power helps us want to do good.

4. His light guides us in hard times.
