The Tree of Life

Lehi was a prophet. God told him to take his family to the promised land. While they traveled, he had a dream about a beautiful tree. It was called the tree of life.
The tree grew delicious white fruit. Lehi felt so happy when he ate it! He wanted his family to try it too.
Lehi also saw an iron rod that led to the tree. People held onto the rod to get to the tree and eat the fruit.
The tree in Lehi’s dream is like the love of God. The rod is like the scriptures. When we read the scriptures, we come closer to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.
