Learn about the Book of Mormon
Who Was Abish?
Abish was a Lamanite. She worked for the queen and king.
One day, Abish saw Ammon teaching them about Jesus Christ. All who listened felt the Spirit so strongly that they fell to the ground.
Abish already believed in Jesus Christ. She knew that the power of God had made the others fall to the ground.
She ran outside and told the people to come see the miracle that had happened to the queen and king.
She helped the queen stand up.
The king and queen shared their testimonies of Jesus Christ with the others. (See Alma 19:16–17, 28–31.)
