Who You Really Are

Elder Kevin W. Pearson

From an interview with Olivia Kitterman and Diana Evelyn Nielson.

Jesus Christ and children

Our Heavenly Father loves us. He wants to help us know who we are. He created our spirits before we came to live on earth. We are all sons and daughters of God.

At times we may feel lonely or worry that we will never be good enough. Jesus Christ knows exactly how we feel. He will help us overcome any challenge. The hard things that we face in this life can help us become more like Jesus Christ if we turn to Him.

The gospel helps us see ourselves as Heavenly Father sees us. Through our faith in Jesus Christ, our trials can turn into blessings. Knowing who you are and how God sees you will bless anyone at any age!

As we come to understand who we are as children of God, we will be able to focus on who Heavenly Father wants us to become. We will face our challenges with Him. Even though we are imperfect and will make mistakes, we can find hope in knowing we are God’s children.

Find the Favorites

All of us are different. We have different talents, likes, and dislikes. But we are all children of God!
