Questions and Answers
“I need advice on planning youth activities. What are some good ideas?”
Take Turns and Plan Together
“We take turns each week planning activities. This takes the stress off just one person, and we get a variety of ideas. Having an activity where you all plan together is also helpful. We love to play games, laugh together, and do service.”
Adelynne S., 17, Utah, USA
Bring Others to the Savior
“Ask members of your class or quorum what they enjoy doing. Pick activities that will bring the youth closer together and to the Savior, and just have fun together! Service activities have always been some of my favorites. I always make new friends!”
Katie G., 18, Washington, USA
Try to Include Everyone
“Activities that everyone can participate in can make others feel more welcome. Asking your group what hobbies or other things they enjoy is very helpful.”
Lily D., 13, Arizona, USA
Three Questions
“My class often plans activities based on three questions: What do we need to improve on? Who do we need to support? Is it time for an activity that takes less time and energy than other activities? With these things in mind, pray, ponder, and counsel together. You got this!”
Isabella R., 14, Oregon, USA
Spiritual Frame
“You will need several Church magazines so you can cut out spiritual images or messages that are inspiring to you. Then place what you cut out in a frame in a unique arrangement. You can put it somewhere you can look at it.”
Florence M., 14, British Columbia, Canada
