Going to school has always been one of my big trials. But I made a goal last year that I would try and be as happy as possible at school. At first, it was very hard. But as I read the Book of Mormon, as I kept going to seminary, I was able to be happier and a better person.

To gain something good is usually not easy. Usually you have to struggle quite a bit, like Jesus Christ did. So I feel like the more you struggle, the more Christlike you can become. I believe the Savior would want you to try to achieve more and do better as you experience challenges.

I love Jesus Christ because of the things that He’s done for me. During His life on earth, He could have been a king. He could have stopped anyone who disrespected Him. But He didn’t, because of us—because He loves us. It makes me want to achieve more, because of Him.

There are no native snakes in Northern Ireland. (Lucky them!)
