Your Patriarchal Blessing

  Does not map out your life.

• 

  Does not answer all your questions.

If it doesn’t mention an important life event, do not take that to mean you won’t have that opportunity. A patriarchal blessing is eternal, and if you live worthy, promises that are not fulfilled in this life will be granted in the next.

How Old Should You Be?

• Mature enough to understand the significance and sacred nature of the blessing and understand the basic doctrine of the gospel.

• Ideally young enough that many important decisions in life are still ahead.
