2007–14 • Dakar, SenegalLatter-day Saints from Taiwan, France, Côte d’Ivoire, and the United States moved to Senegal.

2014 • DakarChurch members and friends began holding Church meetings in members’ homes.

June 7, 2014 • DakarAfia Mame Ndiagne Manga, the first convert in Senegal, was baptized.

Summer 2014 • DakarA Church group was organized in Dakar with Chung Hung “James” Chen as group leader.

November 16, 2014 • DakarElder LeGrand R. Curtis Jr. of the Seventy visited members in Dakar. He was the first General Authority to visit Senegal.

2015–16 • SenegalFrench-speaking missionaries from outside Senegal taught missionary lessons to investigators in Senegal via telephone and online video calls.

May 1, 2016 • DakarThe Dakar Branch was organized with Jacques A. Niambé as president.

July 30, 2016 • DakarGary and Helen Parke, senior missionaries from the Côte d’Ivoire Abidjan West Mission, arrived in Dakar as humanitarian service missionaries. They were the first full-time missionaries assigned to Senegal.

May 22, 2017 • Dakar

Elder David A. Bednar of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles dedicated Senegal for the preaching of the gospel.

January 7, 2018 • DakarThe Relief Society was first organized in the Dakar Branch, with Patricia Samadé as president.

February 5–7, 2018 • Accra, GhanaEight members of the Dakar Branch traveled to Accra, Ghana, to attend the temple, the first temple trip for Latter-day Saints in Senegal.

February 20, 2018 • DakarThe Church received official recognition from the government of Senegal.

April 8, 2018 • DakarThe Dakar Branch was divided to create the Dakar and Parcelles Branches.

May 2018 • DakarElder Ulisses Soares of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles presided at a joint branch conference of the Dakar and Parcelles Branches.
