Jennifer Lund is the director of the Historic Sites Division for the Church History Department. In this week’s episode Jenny explores the desperate circumstances that faced the early Saints after crop failures, frost, and infestation by so-called “Mormon crickets.” We learn how the problems arose over time and how the early Saints prayers were answered.
