Looking Forward to Three New Magazines

Changes in Church magazines reflect the worldwide growth of the Church.

Like the divine compass it is named after (see Alma 37:38–45), the Liahona magazine aims to point its readers toward our Savior, Jesus Christ. Now it is beginning a new chapter as part of exciting changes to Church publications.

Starting next month, the Church will publish three new worldwide magazines: the Liahona for adults, For the Strength of Youth magazine for youth, and the Friend magazine for children. Depending on the language, the magazines will be available every month or every other month.

If you are a current Liahona subscriber, your subscription will automatically continue next year for whatever time remains on your subscription. If your family wants to receive the Friend or For the Strength of Youth magazines, you can subscribe at a local distribution center or at store.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.

Wards and branches will be encouraged to provide subscriptions to newly baptized members as well as to children and youth who attend church without their parents. Take a look at these magazine features and consider how they could bless you, your family, and your friends.
