Africa South Area Bids Farewell to Elder Christoffel Golden and Sister Diane Golden

The Africa South Area extends its heartfelt gratitude to Elder Christoffel Golden and Sister Diane Golden for their service in the Area.

Elder Golden served as President of the Africa South Area from August 2021 to July 2022, supported by his wife, Diane. Elder Golden was first sustained as a General Authority in 2001 and since then has served in a number of assignments, including Executive Director of the Priesthood and Family Department, First and Second Counsellor in the Africa West Area, President of the Europe East Area, and a previous assignment as the President of the Africa Southeast Area from August 2005 to August 2009.

After more than two decades of faithful service, Elder Golden is now released as a General Authority and becomes an emeritus member of the Seventy. We wish him and Sister Diane all of the joy and blessings that come with their lifetime of service.
