How Can I Include the Book of Mormon in My Easter Traditions?
The Book of Mormon provides a powerful witness of the reality of the risen Lord, Jesus Christ. “We as Latter-day Saints are endowed with a most remarkable Easter gift … the Book of Mormon.”1
President Russell M. Nelson taught, “The main reason we celebrate Christmas is because of Easter.”2 Similar to how some families read or reenact the Christmas story from Luke 2 at Christmastime, your family could use the accompanying activity to commemorate the resurrected Savior this Easter using 3 Nephi 11:1–17. The listed songs relate to the selected verses, but you could also choose your favorite hymns about Jesus Christ.
Activity
Together with family members or on your own, read and sing about Jesus Christ coming to the Nephites after His Resurrection.
