Mosiah 7–10
Overview
Mosiah 5 contains the conclusion of King Benjamin’s address to his people when he gathered them together to give them a name (see Mosiah 1:11). In Mosiah 7–8, Ammon directed King Limhi to the prophet and also explained important truths about the role of prophets, seers, and revelators. In Mosiah 9–10, Zeniff was so focused on returning to the land of Nephi and rebuilding the cities there that he neglected to consider some of the negative consequences that could come from his decision. After experiencing some of the consequences, Zeniff and his people turned to the Lord in faith.
