Talking Book

Many of the Church’s materials are available on digital talking book cartridges. These cartridges can be used only with special audio players known as talking book players. Talking book players offer large buttons, braille letters alongside the controls, a sleep timer, built-in audio instructions, and advanced navigational features. In the United States, individuals who are blind or cannot see to read regular print can request a talking book player through their state’s library for the blind.

The Ensign, New Era, and Friend are available to order in talking book format. You can order a subscription to the magazines in talking book format online or by calling Distribution Services at 1-800-537-5971.

The Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price can be ordered on talking book cartridge here or by calling Distribution Services at 1-800-537-5971.

Come, Follow Me—For Individuals and Familiescan be ordered in talking book format by calling Distribution Services at 1-800-537-5971. Generally, a curriculum cartridge is automatically sent out at the beginning of each year to all those who have a current subscription to the Church magazines.
