Help Friends Worship with Us
For many people, attending a new church can be intimidating. You can help your friends have a positive experience worshipping with Latter-day Saints wherever they live by taking them to Church meetings with you or by helping them find a congregation near them using the Meetinghouse Locator.
Help your friends learn what to expect during Sunday worship services. Answer their questions. Pray that they will feel welcome and have a spiritually rich experience when they worship with us for the first time. Your friends can request a tour of the meetinghouse before they attend church or sign up to have the missionaries meet them at the church building on Sunday if they desire.
Whenever you go to church, look for and introduce yourself to new people in your congregation. Together, we can make our worship services and meetinghouses warm and welcoming to all. There is a place for everyone in Jesus Christ’s Church.
In places where local priesthood leaders have approved a livestream of meetings, you can invite friends who are unable to attend services in person to access your local video link through Gospel Stream.
