• Pray and express the feelings of your heart to Heavenly Father.

• Read the first and second chapters of the Book of Mormon and try to answer the following questions:

  • Why did Lehi and his family leave Jerusalem?

  • How does Lehi feel about God? How does God feel about Lehi?

  • How did Lehi’s sons differ in their responses? How would you respond?

  • How does God feel about you?

• You might also read the experience of King Lamoni’s father in coming to learn about God (Book of Mormon, Alma 22:1–26).

• Come to church on Sunday.

• Explore ComeuntoChrist.org.

• Consider inviting someone to join with you in the next visits.

• Would you like the missionaries to read from the Book of Mormon with you?
