A Puzzlement
One of the most widely heard criticisms of today’s society is that it has become too materialistic—that people today place too much value on worldly wealth and possessions. There is truth in this observation, but it is not new to our generation. The apostle Paul warned the Colossians of this human tendency nearly 2,000 years ago.
