“Required Reading,” New Era, Aug. 1985, 29
Required Reading
You never know from the cover
what is rippling in words
on the pages of a book.
You must look within—
ponder printed pages and dive—
Alive in the story, swept in the soul
of a book.
Why then do I,
who cannot be misled by a cover dull or ornate,
hesitate
to give people an open door,
Having had good experience with
the Author
before?
