I Believe in Christ
A testimony of Christ is a wonderful gift to receive—and a beautiful gift to share.
Christmas is a time of joy for many reasons. It’s a time to be thankful for the blessings and traditions you enjoy with people who are important to you. It’s also a time to celebrate the blessings of the gospel and its teachings. Most important, though, it’s a time to celebrate and reflect on the birth of the Savior. Christmas is the perfect time to think about your testimony of Jesus Christ.
In the latter days, many prophets and leaders have shared their testimonies with the world. An especially powerful witness of Christ was given in February 1832, by Joseph Smith and Sydney Rigdon:
“And now, after the many testimonies which have been given of him, this is the testimony, last of all, which we give of him: That he lives! For we saw him, standing on the right hand of God; and we heard the voice bearing record that he is the Only Begotten of the Father—That by him, and through him, and of him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God” (D&C 76:22–24).
Since the time those words were spoken, many others have come to know Christ and gain a testimony of his love, his life, his atonement, and the restoration of his gospel. On the following pages, youth from around the world share the greatest gift they can give: their testimony of the Savior.
