and scorn

they posted

the sign,

not knowing

how true

it was,

never guessing

what kingdom

You really

had the right

to claim;

and to pass

the time

they gambled

for Your clothing

at Your feet,

and yet

You forgave them.

Thank you

for teaching me

that way.
