Snowfall at Evening

Light fall, bright fall, feathery-white fall,

Polka-dotting down in masses,

Powdering pavements and car-filled roads,

Coating houses, bushes, and grasses.

Pale drifts, frail drifts, wind-borne veil-drifts,

Landscaping, rearranging,

Creating scenes in the twilight hours

In delicate patterns, ever-changing.
