Mutual Activity Idea

• Under the direction of your bishop and youth leaders, plan a service scavenger hunt in the neighborhoods near your church building. For a list of services that could be offered, read the article by JeaNette Goates Smith called “Scavengers Welcome” on page 22 in the March 1988 New Era. This New Era can be found online in the Gospel Library at www.lds.org.

Personal Progress and Duty to God Idea

• Prepare a short personal history listing places you have lived, schools you’ve attended, and members of your family or friends. If you have a particular memory of each place or person, record that as well. Add a special touch by taking photos of your home, school, family, and friends.

Family Home Evening Idea

• Read the article “Mama’s Refrigerator” on page 22. Have family members suggest some meaningful items to put on your refrigerator. Or use the back of a door or a bulletin board to post photos, quotes, and other memorable things. Use family home evening as the time to talk about what each item means.
