Since its introduction in 2010, the Member Tools app has grown from a digital directory of ward and stake members to a powerful tool with additional capabilities supporting both members and leaders throughout the Church. As we continue to add helpful features, the app will eventually be renamed Member and Leader Tools. New features being added are the result of the Church conducting extensive research with members around the world.

As we make progress over the coming years, we will continue to update this article so you can learn about upcoming features before they’re released.

    What Is Member Tools?

The Member Tools app helps members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints connect with ward and stake members, access event calendars, locate nearby meetinghouses and temples, connect with missionaries, and more. Leaders can also view membership information and reports.
