Why the change?
The Church is excited to introduce an updated ChurchofJesusChrist.org homepage, aimed at extending the blessings of the restored gospel to millions around the world. And as a Church member, you’ll benefit from a personalized, signed-in “My Home” experience that simplifies navigation and displays what’s most important to you.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a worldwide faith of over 17 million members centered on the belief that everyone on earth is a son or daughter of a loving God and that His Son, Jesus Christ, saved the world from sin and death. Jesus Christ invites all to come unto, follow, and become more like Him.
Many people visit ChurchofJesusChrist.org who are not familiar with the core beliefs of the Church. Many have questions about what we believe, how they can connect with members of the Church, or how they can worship with us. The new home page will immediately welcome anyone who comes to the home page—whether familiar with the Church or not—and share the message that God loves all of us and that Jesus Christ is our Savior. All are invited to join us as a community of faith, whether in worshiping with us, learning more about our beliefs, or connecting with missionaries.
The new home also points to a signed-in My Home experience.
What happened to items I used to find on the home page?
You’ll notice in the main navigation is a link to “My Home.”
This will lead you to a place specifically designed for members. When you sign in, you will receive a personalized experience that considers your calling, where you live, the tools you use, and more.
You can also find “My Home” if you click “Sign In” in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.
Features in My Home include:
- Most frequently used links, such as Online Donations, Leader and Clerk Resources, and online temple scheduling
- Upcoming Church broadcasts and events
- Inspirational articles
- Newsroom Feed
- Current Come, Follow Me lesson
- Upcoming events
My Home also features training and resources for your calling.
You can also continue to find resources you regularly enjoy, such as the news or inspirational articles, through the navigation.
Do I have to sign in to see everything?
No. For sensitive information such as calling information, donations, and scheduling temple appointments, you will still need to sign in to find this information.
You may also choose to sign in to add to your study notes or view calendar items. If you would like to view only general updates, you can always visit My Home without signing in by clicking on My Home in the navigation or by clicking on the Tools menu and then My Home.
How can I find my area or region site?
Region or area sites are accessible from any page of ChurchofJesusChrist.org. You can find them in the navigation at the bottom of any page.
