Dear Detective,
Did your mom, grandpa, eccentric aunt, or artistic uncle keep a journal when they were growing up? It’s probably hidden in a drawer or box somewhere. Ask them to show it to you!
Notice things like:
- What does their handwriting look like?
- Did they draw any pictures?
- Did they write frequently, or only on special occasions?
Maybe you could even help them add pictures of their journal to their FamilySearch.org profile. It’s especially easy to do with the Memories app.
