Gathering Israel Part 5
Take a scroll stroll through FamilySearch Memories today!

Last week we talked about exploring Family Tree the way you might explore a city. Take a digital stroll, not worried about where you’re going, and see where your scrolling takes you.

Now it’s time to get to know the people who actually lived in this city—your ancestors!

The easiest way to do that is to go to their Person pages, click the Memories tab, and browse any photos, stories, or documents that you see. Some ancestors have more memories than others. It all depends on what their descendants have shared.

Wanna make a scavenger hunt out of it? See how many of these you can find:

  • Picture of a headstone
  • An old house address
  • Something about a wedding
  • Someone with a funny haircut
  • A photo or story that involves an animal

There is power in this sort of “remembering.” Even if you never met some of your family members in this life, you can draw strength from the eternal connections you share!

Did You Know...

When we connect with our ancestors and turn our hearts to family and the temple, we are helping gather Israel!
