The Savior wants to comfort and support you. He’s promised us that if we humble ourselves and seek for His help, He’ll lead us by the hand (see Doctrine and Covenants 112:10).
Trust that if you are doing your best, the Savior will make the difference. Your trials may not disappear right away, but if you are faithful and patient, the Savior will give you strength and comfort through your trials.
Here a few ways you can seek divine help:
- Forgive yourself and others (see Doctrine and Covenants 64:10)
- Pray with faith, humility, and gratitude (see Alma 34:17–27)
- Attend the temple (see Doctrine and Covenants 110:7). If distance or other circumstances make frequent temple attendance impossible, secure and live worthy of a temple recommend
- Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy (see Mosiah 13:16–19)
- Feast upon the scriptures and the teaching of living prophets (see 2 Nephi 32:3)
- Partake of the sacrament and always remember the Savior (see Moroni 4, 5)
- Remember that it’s okay to have questions. We are all learning and growing (see Doctrine and Covenants 6:11)
