His love is always there.

After the Savior’s crucifixion, natural disasters killed thousands of people.

The survivors on the American continent heard the Savior’s voice from heaven. He said that this destruction was because of unrighteousness, and that the devil was happy to see it.

But then the Savior’s message turned tender.

“Return unto me, and repent of your sins, and be converted, that I may heal you” (3 Nephi 9:13).

Notice the different verb tenses He used in 3 Nephi 10:4–6, representing past, present, and future:

  • “How oft have I gathered you.”
  • “How oft would I have gathered you.”
  • “How oft will I gather you.”

He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

He has helped us in the past. He would have helped us even more if we had let Him. And He will helpnullus in the future. But only if we let Him!

Will we?

Recognizing His Help

How has the Savior helped you in the past? How does He help you today? How do you hope He helps you in the future?
