This part of the Young Women theme reminds you that as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ who has made covenants at baptism to take upon yourself the name of Christ, you are His disciple. Being a disciple of Christ means that you follow Christ’s teachings and live His commandments. It means you strive to be “a light unto … people” (3 Nephi 15:12) and remember “the poor and the needy, the sick and the afflicted” (Doctrine and Covenants 52:40). Being a disciple is a lifelong, everyday pursuit that will enrich our lives and the lives of others.
