Three Promises from President Nelson

01/04/21 | 1 min read

Here are three of President Russell M. Nelson’s invitations and promises from October 2020 general conference.

1. Be an instrument in God’s hands—have a glorious future.

President Nelson said, “I promise you that the future will be glorious for those who are prepared and who continue to prepare to be instruments in the Lord’s hands.”1

  • How can you be an instrument in God’s hands today?

2. Let God prevail—see miracles.

President Nelson promised that “as you choose to let God prevail in your lives, you will experience for yourselves that our God is ‘a God of miracles’ [Mormon 9:11].”2

  • To “prevail” means to be stronger than other forces. How can you help God prevail in your life today?

3. Obey God’s laws—receive courage, personal revelation, and joy.

President Nelson closed conference by saying: “I bless you with an increased desire and ability to obey the laws of God. I promise that as you do, you will be showered with blessings, including greater courage, increased personal revelation, sweeter harmony in your homes, and joy even amid uncertainty.”3

  • How can you obey God’s laws more fully today?

Put the prophet’s words to the test. You won’t be disappointed.
