What is your fear?
For a long time, I thought I wasn’t afraid of anything... but suddenly I discovered that I was never willing to take the risk of trying new things.
When I started to think about the reason for my actions, I realized that deep down it was fear...
Then I remembered this invitation from our Savior Jesus Christ: “Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not” (Doctrine and Covenants 6:36).
I love this scripture so much! And I’m so happy to share with you that it’s our 2025 theme for the Young Women and Young Men.
And I thought, what would it be like to have Jesus Christ in my thoughts always? Would it be possible?
Would it be possible for him to be my first thought when I’m getting angry, when I’m bored, when I’m deciding anything, when I’m feeling lonely or being pessimistic?
And, could He also be my first thought when I first wake up in the morning, when something nice happens to me, something I’ve been waiting for a long time to happen?
Today I can tell you YES... and it’s a big fat yes and all in capital letters!
Having Jesus Christ in your thoughts has the power to change the way you see yourself, the way you face your life, how you see your challenges, your friends, your family. And your fears!
Shall we try it together for 10 days? Then tell me!
Hugs!
Andrea
