Tips:
- Utilize Youth Theme Album and Playlist—Youth Album: MP3 - Instrumental - Sheet Music - Choir Sheet Music Version
- Use the Stake Youth Council to plan and run the event. Your youth have been to FSY and know what impacted them and what they would like to replicate!
- Invite YSA in your area to help plan, participate in, or run the event.
Possible Outlines for a 1–2 Hour Post-FSY Activity
If the activity is only an hour, choose one or two activities to omit.
Possible Outline 1
15–20 minutes—Games Activity
- Resources:
5–15 minutes—Welcome
- Ideas:
- Slideshow—Ask youth to send in pictures from FSY and play a slideshow created from their pictures. Set the slideshow to a song from this year's youth album.
- Have a musical number from the youth album.
20–30 minutes—Speaker and Discussion
- Ideas:
- You may want to focus talks on the For the Strength of Youth Guide, Preach My Gospel, or recent general conference talks.
20-25 minutes—Small Group Discussions
- Review the goals the youth set at FSY. Encourage them to set new goals if they already accomplished the ones from FSY.
5-15 minutes—Closing Remarks
- Invite specific youth to share meaningful experiences from their FSY session.
- Review a section of For the Strength of Youth: A Guide for Making Choices.
10-15 minutes—Closing Prayer, Refreshments, and Socializing - END
