In November 1869, Brigham Young established what would become the Young Women's organization of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This organization helps teach daughters of God about our divine identity. Not only are we children of a Heavenly Father and adopted children of Christ through His Atonement, we have important roles in relation to those around us. We can allow the light of God to shine through us, reminding those around us of our sacred roles as children of a king.
