Testimonies: What Should I Say?

How should we bear our testimonies? What should we share if stories, travelogues, declarations of love or gratitude, and sermons are not appropriate? President Kimball reminded us, “You are there to bear your own witness. It is amazing what you can say in 60 seconds by way of testimony. . . Just tell how you feel inside. That is the testimony.” This is an important reminder that testimonies don’t need to be long or complex. Remember that your testimony doesn’t need to be perfect before it’s shared, but work to follow the guidelines we've been given by the Lord's prophets. As we take opportunities to share our testimonies, they will grow.
