Share the Gospel

“Anytime you do anything that helps anyone … take a step toward making covenants with God, … you are helping to gather Israel” (Russell M. Nelson). Sharing the gospel is part of the most important work on the earth today, yet it is as simple as learning to love, share, and invite.

As you live the gospel, you will feel the love of Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, and your love for Them will increase.

• Study the Book of Mormon daily.
• Express gratitude and seek for guidance in prayer.

Help others to feel the love of God by showing you care about them. Seek to uplift and encourage those around you as Christ would.

• Reach out to someone you haven’t seen in a while.
• Compliment a stranger.
• Remind a friend or family member of why they are important to you.

• Listen to a friend talk through their struggles.
• Sit with someone new on your lunch break.
• Invite a friend to your home for dinner or family night.

• Invite someone to a self-reliance or addiction recovery class.
• Offer to help build out someone’s family tree.

When you are giving service, invite others to come and help.

• Share what you learned in Come, Follow Me this week.
• Tell a friend about one of your ancestors and how learning about their life has impacted you.
• Invite someone to go on an in person or virtual tour of your local visitors’ center or temple grounds with you.

Invite others to come feel the goodness of the restored gospel and Church of Jesus Christ. Help them to feel welcome.

• Bring a friend to a family, church, or community event.
• Ask a friend to come to church with you.
• Invite a friend to the baptism of someone you know.
