“Aur aisa hua ki jab swargdut uske paas se swarg mein chale gaye, tab charavaahon ne aapas mein kaha, aao ab hum Bethlehem ko chalen, aur yah baat jo honevaali hai, jise Prabhu ne pragat kiya hai use dekhein.
“Aur weh phurtee se aaye, aur Mary aur Joseph, aur Ishu ko charni mein paaya.”1
Luke dwaara likhe gae Naya Niyam mein shaastr ke ye saral verses hamaare dimaag mein Ishu Masih ke janm ki divye ghatna ki kalpana karte hain jise aaj duniya bhar mein manaaya jaata hai.

Tere deeptimaan mukh mein kendrit hain!(Are centered in Thy radiant face!)
He baalak jiski mahima se prthvee bharti hai!(O Child whose glory fills the earth!)
He janm kul ke baalak!(O little Child of lowly birth!)
Charavaahon ne door se maargadarshan kiya,(The shepherds, guided from afar,)
Taare ke neeche pooja kar khada hua,(Stood worshiping beneath the star)
Aur gyaani log jhuke hue ghutne ke bal gire(And wise-men fell on bended knee)
Aur aapko shraddhaanjali arpit ki!(And homage offered unto Thee!)
He baalak jiske farishte gaate hain!(O Child of whom the angels sing!)
He chhote bachche, hamaare shishu raaja!(O little Child, our Infant King!)
Har gam ke liye kya maraham hai(What balm for every sorrow lies)
Un spasht, prakaashit aankhon ke bheetar!(Within those clear, illumined eyes!)
He insaano ko diya anmol uphaar(O precious gift to mortals given)
Hamen Swarg mein viraasat jeetne ke liye!(To win us heritage in Heaven!)”8
Uddhaarakarta ne khud hamen apne upahaar ki gawahi di: “Ye baaten main ne tum se isliye kahi hain, ki tumhein mujh mein shaanti mile. Sansaar mein tumhe kalesh hota hai, parantu khush raho, main ne sansaar ko jeet liya hai.”9
“Kyunki Parmeshwar ne jagat se aysa pyaar kiya, ki usne apna iklauta Putra diya, taaki jo koi uspe vishwaas kare woh naash na howe, parantu anant jiwan paaye.”10
Kitna asaadhaaran upahaar hai; kitna shaanadaar uphaar hai!
“Bada Din ka mausam hamaare Uddhaarkarta, Ishu Masih ke janm, jeevan, praeyshchit, aur punarutthaan ke kaaran hamaare paas maujood asheeshon aur avasaron ko pratibimbit karne aur un par kaary karne ka samay hai.”11
Main chunautiyon aur pareekshanon ke beech bhi shaanti aur aasha paane ki aasheesh ke baare mein sochta hoon;12 vijay aur niraasha donon ke samay mein divye maargadarshan ka aashirvaad;13 ek bade pariprekshy aur uddeshy ka aashirvaad, yah jaanana aur vishvaas karna ki is insaan anubhav ke baad aur bhi bahut kuchh hai;14 aabhaar ka aashirvaad tab bhi jab hamaare paas apni aavashyakataon ko poora karne ke liye kam ho; jab ham akela mehsoos karte hain to saantvana dene ka aashirvaad;15 aur jab hamaare paas bahut kuchh nahin hai tab bhi dene mein saksham hone ki aasheesh.
Ye aur kaee any aasheeshein hamaare paas Ishu Masih se hain! Haan, shishu Ishu ke kaaran main Bada Din ke charnee mein rakhe jaane ka besabree se intazaar kar raha tha. Vah, jo hamaara sabse bada uphaar hai, usne apne jeevan, udhaaharan, shikshaon aur balidaan ke kaaran hamein itna anmol aashirvaad diya.
Phir main poochta hu: badle mein, kya hamein in aashirvaadon ka upyog doosaron ke bojh ko uthaane ke liye nahin karna chaahiye, unhein is pavitr mausam ki bhaavna se judne mein madad aur protsaahit karna chaahiye aur pahale Bada Din ke dauraan charvaahon ko ghoshit achchhee khabar ka jashn manaana chaahiye?
Masih hamaare Bada Din ko dayaaluta aur sneh ke riban se pare badal sakate hain aur hamaare utsavon ko daan ke saath lapet sakate hain, jo “Masihh ka shuddh prem [jo] hamesha ke lie hai”16 “Yadyapi hamaaree bhaavanaen aatee aur jaatee hain, hamaare lie Usaka prem nahin aata.”17 Unka pyaar saal bhar aur hamaare jeevan bhar bana rahata hai.
Bada Din ke dauraan Masih par apna dhyaan phir se kendrit karne se hamein apne jeevan mein Unke prem ka ek adhik mahatvapoorn upaay aur doosaron se prem karne aur unki seva karne ki adhik kshamata milegi hamaare aas-paas.
Jab ham Bada Din ki bhaavna rakhte hain, ham Masih ki aatma rakhte hain. Kaash ham, is mausam mein, Ishu Masih, Duniya ki Roshni par dhyaan kendrit karein, aur ham doosron ke saath apne pyaar, karuna aur seva ko baat ke is mausam mein apni khud ki roshni chamakne dein.
Kyunki vah aaya, hamaare astitv ka arth hai. Kyunki vah aaya, asha hai. Wah sansaar ka Uddhaarkarta hai, aur wah hamaara sabse bada uphaar hai; uski, main apni gawahi deta hoon. Ishu Masih ke naam se, amen.
