Sister Amelia Smith McConkie, wife of Elder Bruce R. McConkie of the Council of the Twelve, has been named Woman of the Year by members of Lambda Delta Sigma at Idaho State University, Pocatello, Idaho. Sister McConkie, a daughter of the late President Joseph Fielding Smith, is the mother of eight children. She has served as a stake Relief Society president and is currently teacher of Social Relations in the Capitol Hill Second Ward Relief Society, Salt Lake City.
