Sister Emma Marr Petersen, wife of Elder Mark E. Petersen of the Council of the Twelve, recently received the Distinguished Service award at ceremonies at Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. In making the presentation in behalf of the students, Dr. Henry B. Eyring, president of Ricks, said that the award was for outstanding service and for the “unselfish use of your talents as a musician and writer.” Sister Petersen, the author of 12 books and an accomplished musician, is seen above with Elder Petersen, left, and Dr. Eyring.
