Arsonists Cause Severe Damage to Chapel

Three separate fires were started in the LDS chapel in Scottsdale, Arizona, causing approximately 40 percent of the building to be severely damaged at an estimated cost of $100,000. The chapel housed the Scottsdale First, Fourth, and Fifth wards, whose members are now meeting in other Church buildings in the Scottsdale Stake. Reconstruction plans are currently being considered.
