Hymn of Peace
Flowing, but calmly
Along the shores of Galilee,
Upon the calm, green mount,
There Jesus taught their hearts to feel
The calmness of eternity
In words of strength and love.
Grant us the dews from heaven’s well
Till all our thirst is gone.
Teach us to leave the strain and strife,
And let our ordered lives reflect
The beauty of thy peace.
