Supplication

Humbly

music

1. Holy Lord, I now approach Thee,

Supplicating heaven’s grace.

In my need I seek Thy comfort,

Longing to behold Thy face.

Fallen from Thy path’s perfection,

Seeking now Thy help divine,

Pleading long for my redemption,

May Thy suff’ring cover mine.

2. Lead me into Thy protection.

Gently reach my broken heart.

Heal the wound that now lies hidden.

Help my restoration start.

As my longing seeks redemption,

May Thy mercy intercede.

Let Thy holy habitation

Cover my unending need.

3. Let the joy of Thy salvation

Fill my ever-changing life.

Seal the peace of transformation

Down upon me; make me Thine.

Fill me, Lord, with greater vision

Of Thy sacrifice for me.

Newly fashioned by Thy mercy,

Help me, Lord, to be like Thee.
